Get Connected (New Student Orientation) is your official start to BYU-Idaho. It consists of interactive presentations and activities designed to help you successfully begin your college experience. This event will ensure you become familiar with campus, the resources that are available to you, and the activities that you can get involved in.

For the fall semester, Get Connected is to be determined if it will be online or in person. Look for more emails about what to expect and directions to the various events and activities.

I-Night

I-Night is the can’t-miss semester kick-off party held the Saturday before the semester begins. You can purchase tickets online from the ticket office or at the door. Due to COVID I-Night may be subject to change. For updates visit BYU-Idaho's website.

Honor Code

“The CES Honor Code exists to educate students in an atmosphere consistent with the ideals and principles of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. As a condition of admission, students and employees of BYU-Idaho are expected to live by the Honor Code standards approved by the Board of Trustees ‘at all times... and in all places’ (Mosiah 18:9). Individuals who are not members of the Church are also expected to maintain the same standards of honor, integrity, morality, and consideration of others.” -from the Student Honor Office website.

Inspirational Message

Student Living

“What is discipleship? It is primarily obedience to the Savior. Discipleship includes many things. It is chastity. It is tithing. It is family home evening. It is keeping all the commandments. It is forsaking anything that is not good for us” - President James E. Faust. Check this website for more information about Student Living here at BYU-Idaho
