Did You Know?

  • The David O. McKay library has an online video database called Swank where students can stream movies for free! Swank works great for a roommate movie night or date night!
  • There are Academic Societies you can join on campus. Academic societies exist to: extend & enhance the learning experience, improve professional opportunities, provide a forum for dialogue & interaction among faculty, provide leadership opportunities, & create bonds of friendship among students.
  • The Disciple-Leader Conference (DLC) happens once a semester. It inspires students to become strong leaders of the future and at BYU-Idaho. Attendants will receive a DLC t-shirt, dinner, & dessert!*
*DLC is not currently being held due to COVID-19 precautions

Inspirational Message

Disciple Preparation Center

“Let me suggest that in Rexburg, Idaho, we are in the process of creating not a Missionary Training Center (MTC), but a Disciple Preparation Center - a DPC. . . You and I have access to unparalleled spiritual resources that assist us in developing and deepening our devotion as disciples of Jesus Christ. That is the primary and most important reason for the existence of BYU-Idaho.”
