They are convenient and fast, and roll over from semester to semester. Find more about prices and plans here: Did you know?Heber J Grant MentoringThe Heber J. Grant mentor program is an opportunity for students to meet regularly, one-on-one, with a peer mentor. Their mentor will act as a life coach that assists students in setting and achieving goals to succeed in college and beyond, a guide to campus resources, and a friend. Learning ModelThe Learning Model was created to deepen the learning experiences of students at BYU-Idaho. The Learning Model enables students to take greater responsibility for their own learning and for teaching one another. The model is structured around three steps: Prepare, Teach One Another, and Ponder/Prove. Inspirational MessagePrayerOne of the benefits of attending BYU-Idaho is the freedom we have to talk about our religion. We start every class with a prayer and will often use scriptural examples to convey concepts.
Prayer is direct communication to our Heavenly Father. It is a time we can talk to Him about our worries, our fears, our excitements, and our goals. Have you considered prayer as a preparatory tool for college? Prayer can help give you confidence for your first semester. It can give you comfort and guidance. Always be sure to include your Heavenly Father in your studies. You will not believe the difference it makes to experience this with Him. |
What is it?Each week a New Student Update will be posted that will help you prepare for your BYU-Idaho experience. Fall 2024
