There are a lot of opportunities to socialize with everyone on campus! Check out some of the social activities you could participate in:

Planetarium

​We offer public shows every Thursday evening at 7:00 pm, $2 at the door. Private shows at other times may be scheduled as well. Shows from this past semester include: Wonders of the Universe, Capcom Go, and Dawn of the Space Age. The planetarium offers an opportunity to explore our universe.

Save "The Date" Night

When was the last time you went on a date? Save “The Date” Night invites special guests to share their experiences and perspective on dating and developing relationships. Gain confidence dating can come alive in your life. Refreshments will be served. $3 per person or $5 per couple. Come with or without a date.

Slam Poetry Night

You've seen it on YouTube, you've seen it on Facebook, and now see it at school. Spoken Word (slam poetry) workshop. Come learn how to: perform, write, and hear some awesome poetry. ​

Bowling

Did you know there is a blowing alley on campus? Grab your roommates and head on over to the Strike Zone for night full of fun and good memories. 

  • 1:00 - 5:00 PM $2.00
  • 5:00 PM - 10pm $3.00
  • Shoe Rentals $.50

Roller Skating

Every Monday and Saturday night they turn the Manwaring Center Ballrooms into a roller skating rink. Cost includes rentals! This is a great way to get out of the apartment and away from homework. 

  • Student with I-Card - $2.00
  • Without I-Card - $3.00

Comic Book Workshop

Enjoy learning how to make comic books as you meet with students of similar interests at this weekly, free workshop led by BYU-Idaho students. All students welcome! ​
Talent is all over campus and there are multiple ways to participate and share it. Take a look at the many events we offer to help you and others develop and share your talents. 

BYU-I's Got Talent

Every semester, students get together to showcase their talents that cover a variety of skill. Come and watch them share and perform!

A'cappella Workshop

Learn and enjoy singing a'cappella style at this weekly, free workshop led by BYU-Idaho students. All students of all abilities are welcome! ​

iSign ASL Workshop

This workshop is for those who love ASL! All levels welcome-from beginner to expert. Come to learn and practice sign language, its free!

Open Mic Night

Every Tuesday night in the Crossroads enjoy the music of your BYU-Idaho friends as they perform both cover and originals or come and perform yourself! Sign up that night to play and share your talent!

Cultural Night

There are a lot of different cultures on campus and this night is one of those times that we get to celebrate them. Students gather together to share music, dance, and song from their home culture. 

Guitar Workshop

Come and learn to play the guitar or uke or just improve your skills at this weekly, free workshop taught by BYU-I students.

Humor Code

Enjoy BYU-Idaho's own popular comedy show featuring the funniest in sketch comedy. Join the group yourself and help bring laughter to other students. 
We are happier when we serve others. There are lots of opportunities to serve those around us. 

Truck Tuesday

The first Tuesday of each month, help us distribute food to those in need. Cars will line up and its the job of the volunteers to transport food from the local food banks. Look for more details from I-Serve, a on-campus organization that coordinates service activities for students to participate in. 

Blood Drive

Give a moment of your time and donate blood. Red Cross comes to campus once or twice a semester. Sign-up or walk-in and they will take care of you! Look for more details on the University's calendar. 

Special Needs: Hands

There are many opportunities to the Special Needs community on campus. You can help out with crafts, exercise. 

Adopt a Grandparent

Adopt a Grandparent gives students a chance to interact with the elderly community of Rexburg. Students will volunteer to talk with the assisted living and play games with them.
