Class Planning

To figure out what courses you need to take in upcoming semesters, be sure to look at your Grad Planner on I-plan. Creating a Grad Plan will help you sequence your courses, complete prerequisites, and graduate faster. If you need help, make an appointment with an Academic Advisor.

New Student Orientation

Mark your calendars so you don't miss out on New Student Orientation! This is a great opportunity to get connected, make new friends, learn more about your Academic Program, and become familiar with the unique atmosphere of BYU-Idaho.

Have you heard from your Pre-Arrival Mentor lately?

Have you been in contact with your Pre-Arrival Mentor recently? They can answer your questions about the Pre-Arrival Checklist, registration, housing, campus life or anything else you may be concerned with. Get in touch with them!

Their job is to reach out to all incoming students, like you, and make sure you feel ready to start your first semester here with us!

Did You Know?

There are scholarships available outside of the BYU-Idaho scholarship, you can search for them on Scholarship Universe (a site provided by the school found on byui.edu).
The Ezra Taft Benson Building has a wildlife museum with a huge spread of taxidermy animals.
BYU-Idaho offers free counseling for students. The Counseling Center provides students the opportunity to explore concerns, resolve difficulties, and receive assistance in managing life’s challenges.

In President and Sister Gilbert’s first Devotional as President of the University, he said,

“Sister Gilbert and I would like to invite each of you to rise to the call in your own personal ways and then to share with others how you will rise to the call in your life. . . Rise up and accept the call the Lord has for you, and seek for His power in magnifying your assignments.”
