Housing

The Fall 2024 Semester starts in just a few months! Housing tends to fill up quickly, so if you are planning on taking campus classes, be sure to secure housing soon. You can use the Housing Search Tool to filter through the housing options by price, location, gender, amenities, etc.

Financial Aid

Complete Your Federal Aid Authorization

You can only receive federal financial aid for courses that count toward graduation. Ensure that you will receive the maximum amount of federal financial aid for which you are eligible by registering for a minimum of 12 program applicable credits per semester. FAFSA, grants, and awards are disbursed the 1st full week of the semester if submitted by the priority deadline. If submitted after you may not receive it until half-way through the semester. ​

By completing your Federal Aid Authorization, you decide how your federal funds pay your charges. As a student you may incur additional fees from the bookstore, health center, parking, etc. By selecting "yes" on the Federal Aid Authorization, you allow the aid you receive to automatically pay these additional charges for you.

​Did You Know?

There is a Career and Networking Center on campus that will help you build & update a resume or cover letter, create a LinkedIn account, learn how to network, practice interviews, and explore different majors.

Please download the “BYUI I-Belong” app. It includes important deadlines and reminders, a calendar of events, tickets to your purchased events, access to your email and canvas, your I-card,  the job board, a place to reserve a study room, etc.

The David O. McKay library houses the tutoring center, a Mac Lab & 3D Printing studio, study rooms for group study sessions, special collections, an iron acorn press, and great places to do research!
