Get Connected | September 9-10th
Get Connected (New Student Orientation) is your official start to BYU-Idaho. It consists of interactive presentations and activities designed to help you successfully begin your college experience. This event will ensure you become familiar with campus, the resources that are available to you, and the activities that you can get involved in.
To learn more about Get Connected, check out the Get Connected Guide.
I-Night is the can’t-miss semester kick-off party held the night before the semester begins. It is the final event of Get Connected. You can purchase tickets online from the ticket office or at the door.
New Student Talent Show
Are you interested in sharing your talent with the incoming students of Fall Semester? Don’t be shy; we are counting on you! Try-outs will be held Friday, Sept 9th from 9am-1:30pm in the Manwaring Center Little Theater (on the 3rd floor). We are looking forward to a great show!
Permits are required to park on campus every day that regular classes are held, including the first day of the semester (starting Sept 12th), but not “finals day”. Parking lots are patrolled between 8am and 4pm, Mon-Fri, for school parking permits. Typical rules and regulations are enforced 24/7. Plan accordingly when trying to find parking in the middle of the day and when lots are full.

It is keeping all the commandments. It is forsaking anything that is not good for us” - President James E. Faust. Check this website for more information about Student Living here at BYU-Idaho .
