Priority registration opens March 1st!

Registration is right around the corner! Pick your classes now so you are ready for when the University announces the registration dates. Steps to help you as you prepare include:

• Continue to work on your Grad Plan if you have not yet completed it.
• Meet with an Academic Advisor to see what classes are best to take your first semester and to review your Grad Plan. 
• Take a look at the registration portal before you register to see what times classes are being offered.
• Start planning out what your week will look like with all your classes in order. 
• Submit your transcripts and transfer credits ASAP. They can take 3-8 weeks to be processed. 
• Clear all holds before registration day.

Update Your Student Profile Info

Be sure to log on to my.byui.edu soon to update your student profile information.

Log on to your student portal and select “Profile”. (See picture below - your page will likely look like 1 of these 2 options)

​Ensure your phone number, email, and address are up to date.

Did You Know?

• There are ways to get around campus and Rexburg even if you don’t have a car! Check out the Walmart Shuttle or Salt Lake Express. The Walmart Shuttle is free!
• We have a cadaver lab on campus for the Anatomy and Physiology classes. 
• Many tests are taken in the Testing Center, located in the basement of the Manwaring Center. It’s open Mon-Sat but closed during devotional time at 11:30am on Tuesdays. Your I-card is required to get in.
• The Academic Support Center has tutors for every subject, interactive videos and quizzes, presentation/speech center, math study center, & reading and writing center to get papers critiqued. Take a look at more details by clicking the button below.

Inspirational Message

Jacob Spori

Jacob Spori was the first principal of Bannock Academy, the precursor to BYU-Idaho. Principal Spori stated,

“The seeds we’re planting today will grow and become mighty oaks and their branches will run all over the earth.”

You will hear a lot about becoming a mighty oak when you are on campus. Courses, programs, workshops, activities, and campus resources strive to help each student plant the seeds necessary to become mighty oaks.
