"Even if you're not sure about your interests, the best way to find a major is to make your best guess and try it on. If you reflect regularly about whether your major is a good fit for you, testing your interests and relative abilities in it, you'll soon get a feeling about whether it's right or wrong." -President Henry J. Eyring

Emotionally Prepare for School

Anxiety and Stress Management Workshop

Starting something new and stepping away from your comfort zone is difficult in itself. College takes that and adds homework, social challenges, and responsibility to eat and take care of yourself in a new way. It is totally normal to feel anxious, overwhelmed, and stressed. We offer workshops on campus to help you adapt to new circumstances and develop new skills that may benefit your experience here and in your future.

Check out the Anxiety and Stress Management workshop that will give you tips and strategies to battle anxiety and stress.

Rise to the Call

In President and Sister Gilbert’s first Devotional as President of the University, he said, “Sister Gilbert and I would like to invite each of you to rise to the call in your own personal ways and then to share with others how you will rise to the call in your life.”

President Gilbert continued, “Rise up and accept the call the Lord has for you, and seek for His power in magnifying your assignments.”
